The Australian Government has established the Fiji Program Support Facility (the Facility) to implement its Education, Health and Scholarship aid programs in Fiji and its Scholarship program in Tuvalu. The Facility will also support the Civil Society Sector in Fiji and delivery of Australia’s emergency response efforts following natural disasters, as well as governance sector support when requested by the Fijian Government.
The Civil Service Reform Management Unit (CSRMU) manages and implements a range of reforms across the civil service in Fiji.
The company managing the Facility on behalf of the Australian Government, Coffey, is recruiting the position of Organisational Design and Change Management Adviser on behalf of the CSRMU. The Adviser will report to the Director CSRMU and the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts.
The Organisational Design and Change Management Adviser will work closely with senior and middle management within the Ministry of Education, Heritage and Arts in Fiji to develop an appropriate organisational structure and begin the change process through appropriate workshop activities. The adviser will provide guidance and mentoring in developing a risk assessment, change management plan, communication strategy and roadmap of key implementation steps for the revised structure.

Are you an experienced manager or organisational development specialist in the education sector?
The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate significant experience in organisational design and implementing major change in the public service, including skills in analysing evidence, assessing risk and change management strategies. The adviser will have an excellent understanding of issues and needs for client service in the education sector, preferably in small island or Pacific countries, combined with international best practice approaches to service delivery. The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders from varying backgrounds is required for success.
This position is classified Category D Level 3 (long term) capped at the entry/mid-point level under the DFAT Adviser Remuneration Framework.
