Some roles are all about the work. Ours are all about the opportunity. Sharing knowledge, exploring new thinking and delivering smart solutions.

About the role

This role isn’t just a desk job. It’s about getting out in the field and experiencing hands on learning, being exposed to how we engage with our clients and contractors and preparing technical advice for a diverse range of challenging projects.  Based in Chatswood there will be a requirement for periodic travel for project work elsewhere in NSW and nationally.

You’ll be part of our specialist Site Assessment and Remediation (SAR) group – a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, chemists and environmental practitioners working throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Here’s what you’ll be focussed on as you develop your skills:

  • Field investigation and sampling
  • Observing and guiding site remediation activities
  • Collating, analysing and interpreting data
  • Assisting with proposals, project correspondence and technical reports

About you

Beyond your qualifications in Engineering or Geosciences, we’ll develop your skills in engaging with clients, contributing to winning proposals and delivering projects.

What makes us different is that we are recognised globally for our consulting expertise and our ability to provide smart solutions to our clients. That means that you’ll work on a broad range of client projects and learn from some of the most talented environmental professionals in the industry.

You’ll have excellent communication and organisational skills, and be proficient in data interpretation and reporting. You’ll be comfortable working as part of a team and bring a commitment to ongoing professional development. A working knowledge of guidelines and standards related to the management of contaminated land in NSW is desirable.

You will take a flexible approach to your work and be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in the assessment and management of contaminated land, with a desire to build a career in this area.

Please note: You must hold Australian work rights and a current unrestricted Australian Driver’s License to apply for this position.
