The Program

Australia Awards Cambodia (AAC) is a multi-year Program managed by Coffey International Development (a Tetra Tech Company) on behalf of the Australian Government, commencing July 2018.

AAC will provide long and short-term study and training opportunities (Scholarships, Short Courses and support to Fellowships) within the framework of the Australia Awards Global Strategy. It will also include a range of activities that support achievement of the investment’s objectives, through activities such as:

1.         English language and pre-departure training

2.         Equity pathway program

3.         On-award engagement

4.         Alumni engagement

The Position

Reserved for Cambodian Citizens

The Alumni Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for the effective, efficient and targeted engagement with a broad range of alumni to support the objectives of the DFAT Australia Global Alumni Engagement Strategy (2016-2020 and DFAT Cambodia’s Australian Alumni Engagement Strategy (2017-2020). Some key responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrated experience in a related field relevant to Alumni engagement
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Experience managing the delivery of activities for a large project or program 

The Person

We are seeking applicants with a Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as marketing, media or event management. The successful candidate will preferably have experience in Alumni engagement and will also have experience in managing the delivery of activities for a large project or program. You will also have an understanding of the Australian Higher Education Sector, have excellent report writing skills, have the ability to meet deadlines and have experience of working with multiple clients. Your very good interpersonal skills with demonstrated capacity to take initiative and work as a member of a team will help you succeed in this role.
