About the role

At Coffey, the role of Assistant Project Manager is to undertake and assist with the supervised management of the planning, coordination and delivery of all aspects of project within the terms of Coffey Projects obligations.

Our engagements range from providing advice on small niche assignments to the full spectrum of end-to-end services on major landmark projects, and everything in between – Strategy, Definition, Delivery and Transition. 

To play your part you are expected to develop your understanding of Coffey’s value proposition and our target markets and grow your professional project management skills under the leadership of our skilled specialists.   This role offers hands on project management experience in a solution focused and continuous improvement environment. 

As a Coffey ambassador, you are expected to develop positive internal and external relationships, demonstrate collaborative teamwork skills and approach challenging problems with resolution and actively embrace our values: Do the right thing, Explore new ideas, Collaborate and share knowledge and Ensure individual and team well being.

About you

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will have:

    • Successfully completed or progress towards a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
    • Ideally you will have some work experience working in project management administration
    • Good verbal and written communication skills are essential
    • High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Suite essential)
    • Presentation writing would be well regarded
    • Enthusiastic and possess a reputation for being disciplined with great time management
