About the role
This role isn’t just a desk job. It’s about getting out in the field and experiencing hands on learning, being exposed to how we engage with our clients and contractors and preparing technical reports for a diverse range of challenging projects.
You’ll be part of our specialist Site Assessment and Remediation (SAR) group – a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists, chemists and environmental practitioners working throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Here’s what you’ll be focussed on as you develop your skills:
- Field investigation and sampling
- Observing and guiding site remediation activities
- Collating, analysing and interpreting data to prepare technical reports
- Assisting with proposals and project correspondence
We’re looking for a civil/environmental engineer, geologist, hydrogeologist, soil or environmental scientist with 1 to 2 years experience in contaminated land consulting to join our growing team in Sydney.
You’ll need sound analytical and report writing skills, confidence in interacting with clients and a commitment to ongoing professional development, ideally aiming towards Certified Practitioner level. A working knowledge of guidelines and standards related to the management of contamination land in NSW is desirable.
You will take a flexible approach to your work and be highly motivated, organised and have a genuine interest in the assessment and management of contaminated land, with a desire to build a career in this area.
