Categories: Project management consulting
- Unique part-time D&C project management opportunity
- 10 month contract; 1 - 4 days per week
- 4 client sites: Wangaratta, West Sale, Bangholme, Huntly (Bendigo)
About the role
This is a unique part-time contract opportunity to represent Coffey with our client and to project manage construction supervision for proposed water management systems at 4 regional Victorian Emergency Management Training Centre sites in north east Victoria.
Commencing in October 2019, the project manager will manage day to day supervision of construction and commissioning of the works across 4 locations with the anticipated completion date for all sites in August 2020.
As the Superintendent’s Representative for Coffey, you’ll manage on-site relationships with the client and contractors, attend and chair weekly site meetings and produce meeting minutes and photographic records of progress.
You will also provide timely reports and updates on the progress of milestone deliverables and quality and risk management performance to our hub office in Melbourne.
You’ll be qualified in project or construction management, engineering or architecture; will have experience in client-side project management and will be skilled in managing client relationships.
Ideally, you’ll be at a point in your career where you can accommodate a flexible part-time contract arrangement which will see you working from 1 day to 3/4 days per week to cover peaks in the construction schedule across the sites (anticipated to be between February and May 2020).
This role would be best suited to someone who is living in regional Victoria and has the means to commute to each site as required. Travel and accommodation costs will be covered.
Applications from retired or semi-retired project management professionals in the region will be welcomed.
Our talented geoservices and project management specialists collaborate with our project partners and clients to deliver vital national and international projects in transport and property infrastructure; mining and oil and gas.
Since joining Tetra Tech, we’ve combined the resources of a global, multi-billion-dollar company with Coffey’s reputation and deep expertise in Australia and New Zealand.
It’s a strong combination that’s supporting our growth and creating exciting opportunities.
