The Australia Awards and Alumni Engagement Program Philippines (AAAEP-P) supports the Philippines to progress its development goals and have positive relationships with Australia that advance mutual interests through a mix of long-term scholarships, short courses, Fellowships and other forms of training for current and emerging leaders and influencers, alongside strategic engagement with alumni. AAAEP-P is responsible for the planning and management of these learning packages, training and other enabling activities as well as the monitoring of the application of learning through the Re Entry Action Plan (REAP).
The Position - Reserved for National Citizens of the Philippines
The Australia Awards Scholarships Project Officer will work under the direction of the Program Director/Alumni Manager to support Australia Awards Scholarship activities in close coordination with other members of the Scholarships team – including communication and promotion activities and monitoring, evaluation and reporting of REAP's.

You will have a tertiary qualification, preferably with a post graduate degree in either marketing, program/project management, communications, human resources or other related discipline.
Coupled with your extensive experience coordinating scholarship programs and activities for scholarship recipients, you will demonstrate experience marketing and promoting large program events/activities and developing and managing communication campaigns.
You will also require strong technical and feature writing skills, experience in tracking and reporting project results and the monitoring and evaluation of development or scholarship programs.
You will demonstrate the ability to effectively self-manage your priorities and deadlines with minimum supervision while working in a flexible and dynamic team environment. Creativity and innovative problem-solving skills will be an asset to your work. Links with various public and private sector networks and demonstrated ability to maintain these linkages will ensure success in this position.
A sound understanding of international development/development cooperation principles and practices and a demonstrated understanding of aid effectiveness principles, cross cutting developmental issues and their applications is desirable.
The ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively with a diverse range of people and cultures, representing client organisations, governments and agencies in fluent written and spoken English is essential.
