The Fiji Program Support Facility (the Facility) was established in 2017 to to support and implement Australia’s aid programs in sectors including health, education, Australia Awards and governance in Fiji. The Facility also supports the Australia Awards and education programs in Tuvalu. The Facility integrates cross-cutting themes, including gender equality, disability inclusion, climate change, emergency preparedness and response and civil society engagement, across sectoral programs.
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Coordinator/Officer will support the implementation of the Facility’s MEL system across its programs and cross-cutting themes, in a delegated area of responsibility. This includes supporting a Facility team (such as health, education or the Facility Management Support Unit) to collect and analyse program results, prepare reports and integrate gender equality and social inclusion throughout all MEL activities. The MEL Coordinator/Officer will also collaborate with partner Ministries (such as the Ministry of Health and Medical Services) and other partners (such as Civil Society Organisations) to collect data and to build the MEL capacity of their staff.
The Coordinator/Officer will be responsible for recording MEL data in a timely and accurate manner. This is an ideal role for someone with an attention to detail, proven ability to develop and maintain relationships, and an interest in growing within a role of increased MEL responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant undergraduate degree and have previous practical experience in collecting and analysing monitoring and evaluation data and information. Previous experience working in working with Fiji government, particularly in the health or education sectors, or on donor funded development programs, will be highly regarded. This is an ideal role for someone with an attention to detail, proven ability to develop and maintain relationships, and an interest in growing within a role of increased MEL responsibilities.
